    Artist Statement

Loss can distort time and reshape our histories. It bends our perception and reshapes the narrative of events. When a life is taken, that narrative becomes fragile and charged; the person’s memory shifts into something spectral, suspended between fact and myth. Their story is rewoven by those left behind. Even with justice served, the weight of their absence lingers. In this way, the deaths do not vanish. Their memory can feel like a ghost, frozen moments in time.
